The Console 7 Difference
We fix the reason you called, not just the ticket.
Most IT providers report on how fast a ticket gets closed. We think that's the wrong number to chase.
The Usual Scorecard
A lot of IT providers measure themselves the same way: tickets opened, tickets closed, response times hit. It looks good on a monthly report. But that scorecard doesn't ask the question that actually matters: did the problem come back?
A quick fix closes the ticket. A real fix, the kind that finds out why the same server keeps dropping or why the same user keeps getting locked out, takes longer and doesn't always show up as a clean number.
What We Track Instead
We'd rather show up less on next month's report because the problem didn't happen again, than show up more because we closed the same ticket a third time.
- Root cause over quick fixes. Some things are just going to happen: a cable gets bumped, a printer drops its connection. We're not going to manufacture an investigation over a flat tire. But when the same thing keeps happening the same way, that's a pattern, and we treat it like one.
- Fewer repeat tickets, not just faster ones. A ticket that never comes back is worth more than one closed in five minutes and reopened in five weeks.
- Systems that run well, not just systems that run. Technically working and working well aren't the same thing.
Done Right, Not Just Done
Getting something "working" and getting it done correctly aren't always the same job, and the gap between them is where most future problems come from.
A common example: setting up email for a business takes more than pointing an MX record at the mail server. Without SPF and DMARC configured too, mail still flows, so it looks finished, but the domain is left more exposed to spoofing and phishing than it should be. It works. It just isn't done well.
We'd rather take the extra step now than leave you with something that looks finished but isn't.
Built to Scale With You
Break-fix IT solves today's problem. It doesn't ask what your business will need in a year, or whether today's setup holds up as you grow. We build with where you're headed in mind, so today's fix doesn't become tomorrow's bottleneck.
Ask Your Current Provider This
"How many times has this same issue come up this year?"
If the honest answer is more than once, that's not bad luck. That's a sign the ticket got closed, but the problem never actually got fixed.
